HTC Imagio and Predator coming next month

Word has it that HTC will be working with Verizon to release a couple more smartphones under the carrier’s banner, where the Imagio will more or less be the final version of the Whitestone, where it will feature its own original design instead of copying one from its vast library of Windows Mobile phones. It also seems likely that the Imagio will come with a 3.6″ touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution, 3G connectivity, GPS navigation and Wi-Fi support, running on Windows Mobile 6.5. The same source also claims that the HTC Imagio will be released on October 6th just as Windows Mobile 6.5 makes its debut. As for the HTC Predator, this is tipped to be the first Android phone for Verizon from HTC that will ship later next month, where certain quarters have referred to it as the Desire.
