Word has it that the HTC Touch HD2 will be appearing pretty soon, where it will ditch the Windows Mobile platform for Google’s Android instead – something most people would welcome. On the rumor mill as well, the Touch HD2 will supposedly come with a speedier 628 MHz processor and feature a 3.8″ touchscreen display similar in size to that found in the HD. Guess it is always a virtue to start saving money at any time just in case one newfangled device hits the market that leaves you starry-eyed.
