I SWARM robot project

Most robots tend to be ambitiously large, but the I-SWARM project takes the other route. The name along gives the game away as the acronym stands for Intelligent Small-World Autonomous Robots for Micro-manipulation. Basically, this translates to simple, tiny robots that come with three legs and a little poker that enables it to manipulate its surroundings. Meant to function in large, affordable, mass producible, replaceable groups, the I-SWARM robots are supposed to handle what insects are good at, especially surveillance, although cleaning up every single nook and cranny in your house would also be very much welcome.
