USB flash drives sure have come a long way from their 64MB roots in the extremely early days, where Kanguru has taken portable storage to higher level with their 64GB e-Flash USB drive. What makes this model more unique is it boasts both USB and eSATA connectivity, where there are connectors on both ends that lets you hook up using the interface of choice when accessing/transferring data. Performance enthusiasts will probably settle for the eSATA part most of the time since it theoretically offers up to five times the performance of a standard USB flash drive. What’s more, the Kanguru e-Flash comes with its own powered eSATA connection, and is housed within a high strength aluminum chassis for added protection. No idea on pricing or a release date yet though. [Press Release]
