The Eee PC 701 really kicked off the whole netbook fever thing, and it is interesting to know that there are many ways to “recycle” this piece of technology, where among them includes using it as part of your kitchen cabinet to make it a low-power yet functional kitchen PC. Of course, it is useful for surfing the Internet, checking out the current weather using widgets, leave notes for family members who do more than raid the kitchen for snacks, and perform other computing tasks via the modified touchscreen display. A keyboard is located behind the cabinet door for you to carry out more complex commands.
