
We’ve all become fairly used to remotely controlling our stuff via the Internet, be it another computer, your BitTorrent downloads and who knows what else. Well, it looks like Kwikset’s locks are looking to join the party, as its new locks are able to update you with its status via the Internet, and you can even lock and unlock the door that way. It can even be set to send you an email whenever someone goes in and out of your house. Such functionality isn’t going to come cheap in a door knob, so you’d better be fairly rich before you install one of these.
