Seems as though Microsoft might not want to be left behind in the smartphone race as they could very well roll out their own phone hardware known as Pink, developed in parallel to Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 7 operating system. Word has it that Microsoft will roll out two new smartphones sometime early next year, presumably at CES 2010. Whispers also abound that the two devices have been code named “Turtle” as well as “Pure”, but apart from that we know little or nothing else so stay tuned. After all, January 2010 isn’t really that far away, and it would be interesting to see Microsoft try to muscle their way into the smartphone business with a hardware that they can call their own.
