The latest WiMAX-supporting USB adapter from Motorola would be the USBw 200, where it is able to play nice with the following frequencies – 2.3GHz, 2.5GHz and 3.5GHz. All drivers for the adapter are stored on the device itself, doing away with the need for installing media on a Windows-based computer. Motorola also claims that their USBw 200 won’t be a drain on your batteries as it sips less than 1.5 watts even at peak power. Expect to see the Motorola USBw 200 arrive sometime in Q4 this year, although pricing details have still been withheld.
