Rumor is going around the Internet that Microsoft will be releasing 2 new smartphones, maybe even at CES in January 2010. The code name of the project is supposedly “Pink”, and since this is from the acquisition of Danger, they will be continuing to use Sharp as the manufacturing partner, not HTC as previously rumored. They’ll supposedly be branded as “Microsoft + Sharp” devices. The devices have the code name “Turtle” and “Pure”, the former sporting a slide-out keyboard. Hopefully we’ll be able to dig up more info on this sometime soon.
