OWC has announced that its latest Mercury On-The-Go Pro SSD models will be released soon, making them the most affordable portable FireWire 800/400 and USB 2.0 bus powered SSDs in the market at the moment. Available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities, these will retail for $279.99, $449.99 and $729.99, respectively. All of them will play nice with Mac OS X and Windows platforms, where they’ll be accompanied by interface connecting cables, a carrying case, a three-year warranty and a $200 retail value disk utility software bundle.
