Palm Pre to get price cut

The Palm Pre might have gotten everyone excited when it was first announced, but disappointingly, sales of the smartphone didn’t really take off in a stellar fashion as most would’ve liked to see. Well, good news for those who are still sitting on the fence, unable to decide whether they want an Android phone, an iPhone or the Palm Pre. Sprint will cut the price of the Pre by $50 from September 8 to October 31, 2009, which means the handset will be going for $149.99 after a mail-in rebate. This will, of course, be accompanied by an Everything Data or Simply Everything plan.
