Philips has unveiled a couple of touchscreen capable handsets – the X806 and the C702 which will most probably arrive in China in due time. The former will measure 14mm thin, where it comes with a 3.5″ TFT display at 240 x 400 resolution, a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity, an integrated FM radio, 47MB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot. Shame to see 3G connectivity missing from this considering its potential. Up next would be the CDMA 1X Philips C702 handset that will come with a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 3.4″ QVGA display, Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation, 70MB internal memory and a microSD memory card slot. No idea on the pricing for either handset.
