The Philips Xenium K700 does look quite good in the image here, and just like other Philips handsets, this one too will boast long talk times of up to 8.5 hours on a single charge and one month on standy. In comparison with their past efforts, those figures aren’t looking too good, but that’s probably because of the additional features and specifications thrown in, including the following :-
- 2.8″ touchscreen TFT LCD at 400 x 240 resolution
- GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900MHz connectivity
- Supports RMBV, AVI, FLV, Divx, MP3, WMA, AC, FLAC, APE file formats
- Dedicated GPU
- 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus and video recording
- 48MB internal memory,
- microSD memory card slot
- Bluetooth 2.0/USB 2.0/FM-radio with RDS
There is no word on a release date, pricing or target markets, but chances are it will hit other parts of the world before it even has a chance of making it Stateside. What do you think?
