Polaris concept robot

AU’s proposed Polaris concept robot does look like a distant relative of the Sony Rolly, although the Polaris offers the capability of a cellphone which when attached to a cradle, functions as a tiny robot to keep your friends entertained – all for 10 minutes. Whenever connected to a TV, the Polaris is able to let you view your entire contacts database alongside nifty information such as weather and the latest news updates over the big screen (that is relative, depending on the size of the TV you are using). No idea on whether this idea will catch on or not – sounds like way too much hassle although it offers a fresh perspective.
