The Samsung Omnia HD is one nifty handset, but that doesn’t mean it is perfect. One of the features that people have been clamoring for would be kinetic scrolling, and Samsung has heard the clarion call by including it in their latest Chinese firmware, which points toward it being available in other region-specific firmware as well (hopefully sooner rather than later). The firmware will be known as I8910UZCII1 (virtually impossible to memorize), where it will offer the latest v7.1.13841 of WebKit browser – the brains behind kinetic scrolling.
