Seagate has released the FreeAgent Theater+, an update to the FreeAgent Theater that brings 1080p video playback, an Ethernet connection and Dolby Digital audio output. Thanks to the Ethernet port, users now have access to their local collection of media files. It is also possible to connect a digital camera (or a USB stick) to the USB ports. Next month, a WIFI option will become available, for those who don’t have an Ethernet plug nearby. Prices start at $149.
