Guess Sony has finally revealed a real netbook unlike the Vaio P, where it previewed the Vaio X Series at IFA Berlin 2009. This 11.1″ machine comes in a black carbon fiber chassis, tipping the scales at a mere 1.5 pounds while measuring under 0.5″ in thickness. Apart from that, Sony touts to offer an “all day and into the night” battery, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, directly placing it in the Nokia Booklet 3G’s path where specifications are concerned. There is no word on pricing or availability anywhere in the world just yet, making us wonder whether Nokia will beat Sony out by unleashing their Booklet 3G onto this niche market first.
