Toyota clear-coat paint is self-regenerating

Toyota has rolled out a new type of clear-coat paint that features self-restoring qualities, making it highly resistant to surface scratches that come about normally via car wash brushes or fingernails. It is unlike a standard clear coat, where it is capable of restoring itself even when deformed. You also won’t need to put it under a special maintenance program like the stealth bombers in the USAF, since it is well capable of preventing luster degradation caused by surface scratches while helping prolong new-car color and gloss. The new coat will boast an ingredient which promotes closer molecular bonding, resulting in a denser structure than normal to deliver unprecedented flexibility and elasticity in the coat.
