Guess Microsoft’s secret Pink phones are not so secret anymore, with the Turtle and Pure handsets being unveiled here. Manufactured by Sharp (the people behind Danger’s Sidekick hardware who was eventually snapped up by Microsoft a couple of years ago), Pink handsets will target a similar demographic as with those who are using Sidekick phones. The Turtle does seem to be more of a child’s toy of the Palm Pre, while the Pure resembles more or less a standard issue slider. Both will rely on plastic as the main construction material of choice, where they will be complemented by soft angles and circular keys for an overall clean-cut design. It is possible that the Pink phones will include Zune services and feature its own app store, which could probably make these the Zune phones that have been making rumor rounds since time immemorial.
