Those who hail from an Asian background would normally look upon dishwashers and wonder why can’t you just use your hands, a sponge and some detergent to turn that dirty pile of dishes clean in a jiffy instead of wasting electricity and water to keep the appliance running. Well, as economical as using one’s hands are, French appliance maker De Dietrich thinks it is time to move on by offering a new ultrasonic dishwasher that will literally scrub surfaces clean without having to waste water or use environmentally-unfriendly detergent. Hopefully it will be nigh affordable for many once it is finally out of the production line.
