
Verizon has decided that they will no longer support the Palm Pre, which probably means that from next year onwards, Palm will look to other providers to bring their Pre smartphone (and the Pixi, too) to other carriers. This doesn’t bode too well for Verizon, since it effectively kills off any notable smartphone offering from the company, while the Pre looks for a new owner who is willing to take it under their wings and push more units to the masses.
