VIA’s NetNote Turnkey Systems will come in various sizes that range from 10.2″ to 12.1″, where it will merge both the portability and affordability of a netbook alongside the functionality and HD entertainment capabilities of a notebook in a single, light, high performance clamshell mobile device that won’t see a drain in battery life that fast. Apart from that, the NetNote Turnkey Systems will also support playback of high bit-rate 1080p HD video, thanks to a choice between a VIA C7-M ULV or VIA Nano processor that is aided by the VIA VX855 media system processor. The latter will enable the VIA Surfboard C855 which in turn supports hardware acceleration of leading video standards such as H.264, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and VC-1, letting you enjoy the highest bit-rates and resolutions without worrying about battery life being drained within a short period of time.
