The Nikon Coolpix S1000pj digital camera that came with an integrated projector did wow the masses a few weeks back when it was first released, but this isn’t the first time such a combination was released. You’ll probably be surprised to know that the first combination projector/camera device was invented more than half a centry ago, known as the Wittnauer Zoom Cine-Twin. Designed by a jewelry maker, the device was mainly used as a camera, although one can always watch what was filed by pulling up the film arms and attaching it to the base. Powered by D batteries, this was clearly state of the art back in 1957.
