The Zune HD won’t knock the iPod off its lofty perch anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean the device is a slouch either – in fact, word has it that the Zune HD is selling out across the board. For instance, those who look towards Best Buy for their purchase will find it back ordered for the foreseeable future, while Fry’s has ran out of the 16GB model. As for Amazon, you will have to wait anywhere from one to 3 weeks for the 32GB model. It is interesting to note that Microsoft’s own store currently has no trouble keeping the Zune HD in stock, and this could be interpreted as them taking their own sweet time to ship out more to retailers in order to create a shortage. What do you think?
