
Acer’s Android-powered Liquid A1 smartphone is now ready to take pre-orders, retailing for approximately $570 (after conversion) from Expansys Spain from November 28th onwards. This will be the first Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU-powered smartphone in the world that runs Android 1.6 with Acer UI 3.0, where other specifications include a 3.5″ WVGA touchscreen display, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS navigation, a 3.5mm headset jack, Facebook/Flickr/Twitter integration and a 5-megapixel autofocus camera.
