Air Board gets you up and moving in style

The Segway is a pretty cool invention where it helps you get to your destination without having you break a sweat while you’re at it, but it might seem to be out of reach for most ordinary Joes. They can then forget about the Air Board though, as this $14,000 personal hovercraft will float 8″ above the ground at all times, reaching a maximum speed of 15 mph while running around and about for an hour or so on just 1.3 gallons of gas. A couple of levers on the steering bar ensures you will be able to steer in the right direction as you shift your weight around. Good thing the Air Board comes with a safety switch that kills the engine whenever you jump off, reducing the risk of you and the Air Board ending up as a ball of fire.
