Barnes & Noble’s Nook has certainly caused a reaction from one of their competitors, Amazon with the Kindle reader. After all, it looks as though Amazon will be canceling the US-only Kindle by consolidating their family of 6″ Kindles, lowering the price to $259 from $279 previously. This would also mean that selected countries will enjoy an unlocked web surfing experience as well to take full advantage of the Kindle. Would this mean that previous US-only Kindles will go up in price in the second hand market?
