HTC has confirmed that they are already working on Android 2.0 smartphones despite the fact that Google has yet to announce the OS or SDK to date, but October 28th should be the official date if things were to go right. There isn’t any confirmation as to whether current Android-powered handsets can be upgraded to Android 2.0 though, so let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope something more concrete will be unveiled in a couple of days’ time.
