Apple Magic Mouse usurps the Mighty

Finally, we can finally say this – “Oh how the mighty have fallen!” in reference to the Apple Mighty Mouse which has been ousted by the Apple Magic Mouse that was unveiled via the online site. This pointing peripheral will come with a multitouch surface that is made out of hard acrylic spread all over the top, letting you perform gestures that are second nature to your already thanks to the amount of time spent with your Mac trackpad. Some of the gestures supported include two finger swipes and single finger horizontal and vertical scrolling to boot. Too bad there is no pinch and zoom support with this. Coming with a four month battery life, the Apple Magic Mouse will retail for $69 a pop. They should come up with an April Fool’s version that has a non-removable, non-rechargeable battery – now that would be a hoot!
