Apple now shipping updated, un-jailbreakable iPhone 3GS

Apple is apparently using a new firmware in recently shipped iPhone 3GS phones that prevent jailbreaking with current tools. This has been confirmed by a couple of known hackers. That was to be expected, but the question is: how long before someone finds a way around it?

Update: these new iPhone 3GS can now be jailbroken, although they make life a little harder: they need to be connected to a computer in order to boot.
