Asus Eee Box EB1501

Asus’ latest Eee Box EB1501 has just been announced, joining a host of other Eee Boxes that was recently unveiled. Just before you dismiss this as another same-old, same-old nettop with more or less similar specifications, hold those thoughts. Asus has made sure that they will set the EB1501 apart from the rest by including a slot-loading DVD burner. Asus did not, however, specify whether this will be shipped with the drive built-in or will it comes with an external USB disc drive. Powering this up will let you discover that it ain’t no slouch, featuring a Dual Core Atom 330 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics card and running on the yet-to-be-released Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
