Asus to release Android smartphone

Apple executives must be feeling the heat with Asus preparing itself to release a new Android-powered smartphone before the year is over, where more and more companies seem to be moving towards the Android direction. Hopefully this will foster healthy competition that is good for everyone as nobody is going to be seen as resting on their laurels. Granted, Asus didn’t really manage to wow the world with their past smartphone offerings, but perhaps this time round would be different?
