We’ve got a rather interesting update on the Barnes & Noble eBook reader, as it seems that folks will be able to “lend” their books to other people digitally, simulating the way we normally lend books to our friends. There aren’t any technical details out at the moment, but it would be a useful feature. We’ll have to see how well it’s received, and hopefully it doesn’t bomb like the whole Zune squirting issue. It’s also rumored that the device might have Wi-Fi, but sadly, no 3G. Stay tuned, and we’ll have to see how this Kindle challenger turns out.
