BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 now available

Good news – BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 is now available, being one of the biggest updates to the program to date, boasting improved features including avatars that can be populated from your Contacts if desired, Group functions to enable multiple users to share pictures, tasks and events in a persistent chat, 2D barcodes that lets you invite new friends to BBM with but a quick look at the camera, and the ability to transfer files of up to 6MB in size.
