We’ve seen all sorts of weird news regarding Apple’s iPhone over the years, but you have to admit this latest bit of news does seem a little out of whack. It seems an iPhone owner, Daniel Goodrich, told an Apple Store employee at Kenwoord Towne Centre that he was so mad at his iPhone that he could “pop a 9mm at it”. That on its own wouldn’t be all that bad, considering there are quite a few people who dislike the iPhone, and we can certainly accept that. Opening the right side of his shirt to reveal that he was carrying a black 9mm handgun wasn’t a very nice move, though. It’s hard to blame the Apple retail employee for informing her manager to call to police. Mr Goodrich was charged with aggravated menacing and causing fear of harm to an Apple employee. It does make you wonder what phone he got after (we assume) he got rid of his iPhone.
