Novatel’s FCC filing points toward a rugged Dell Latitude XT2 XFR that will probably be the first rugged tablet from the company to date. It will share the same button layout as with the XT2, although this one comes with thick rubber bumpers on the sides to help shield it from shocks or drops, alongside a thicker monitor hinge for that added touch of quality. The trackpad remains accessible even when the XT2 XFR is in tablet mode. No idea on how much this will cost though, but it is nice to see Dell diversifying their range of machines.
