Droid Series from HTC

HTC looks set to release an entire series of smartphones under the Droid line, where they will follow it up with the HTC Desire that will be known as the Droid Eris, hitting the markets come this November 6th. It does make us wonder whether the Droid name will be part of all Android-powered devices from Verizon, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Another question to consider is this – if the iPhone also makes its way to Verizon, how will it co-exist peacefully with other Android-powered devices from the same carrier?
