Ectaco has released its jetBook Lite e-book reader at the Frankfurt Book Fair in New York, where this device will tip the scales at 7.5 ounces while coming with a 5″ TFT monochrome display from Toshiba. You get 100MB of internal memory with this that can be further augmented thanks to an SD memory card slot. Language support includes English, German, Spanish, Russian and Polish for an European feel to it. The jetBook Lite will rely on a quartet of AA batteries compared to its predecessor, where it is capable of enjoying up to 23 hours of power. Feels like a Game Boy all over again, eh? Expect the Ectaco jetBook Lite to hit the US for $150 soon. [photo by lesen.net]
