Epson has just rolled out its PowerLite Presenter that offers a widescreen presentation solution which is an all-rounder, considering it comes with a built-in projector, DVD player as well as speakers. We’re pretty sure the former two are decent enough in terms of performance, but the speakers surely can’t bring the house down in any way. You will get WXGA resolution in 16:10 aspect ratio for widescreen presentations (and movies, of course), accompanied by 2,500 lumens color and white light output for extra vivid images. The DVD player won’t upconvert in any way, while the couple of 10-watt virtual surround sound speakers ought to be enough for a small room and not a large auditorium. Connectivity options include microphone input as well as USB plug-n-play. The Epson PowerLite Presenter will retail for $899. [Press Release]
