Cisco has announced the FlipShareTV, although there is nothing on the release date and pricing information to date apart from a brief explanation of how it functions. “Previously recorded video, accessed on a computer via FlipShare software, is wirelessly streamed via the FlipShareTV USB stick to the small FlipShareTV box and controlled via remote.” Strangely enough, the FlipShareTV seems to take up much more physical space with a 3-piece set to perform a pretty basic task by today’s standards. Hopefully there is more than meets the eye that we do not know of yet until it finally hits the market.
