Could this be the future of portable projectors? Funai’s new projector is able to project images and not only that, capable of recognizing finger movements! This super small projector also makes allowance for rotating, zooming and flicking through all projected images with but a single finger. This is made possible thanks to a sensor that determines the position of a finger, alongside the intensity of light on the projected area. Apart from your pinky manipulating the images projected, it can also recognize gestures and hand waves. This is but a prototype, but we ought to be able to commercialize the technology as early as next year onwards.
