Google offers free WIFI on Virgin flights, only for the holidays

Google and Virgin are teaming up to offer free in-flight WIFI from November 10 2009 and January 15 2010. We wonder if Google would team up with other companies as well, but both companies have worked in the past, so this is probably an obvious choice. Google gets a lot mindshare and Virgin’s customers are happy. What if Microsoft was offering WIFI with AA or United?
