The HoMedics UV Clean Technology water filtration device, also known as Restore, is touted to be a complete water purification system crammed into a device the size of a pitcher. Restore is touted to offer cleaner and supposedly better tasting tap water after putting the life giving liquid through its germ-killing Ultraviolet (UV) Clean Technology, removing harmful bacteria and viruses in the process. As for the filtration system, it will help reduce metals, chlorine (taste and odor) among other pollutants. It will cost you $99.99 for the pitcher and $7.99 per replaceable filter.
