Folks living in the UK will be able to get their hands on the HTC HD2 from November 11th onwards, retailing for £469 (excluding VAT) – which is translated to roughly $740 thereabouts. Bear in mind that this will be an unlocked version of a potential “iPhone killer”, cramming in a 4.3″ touchscreen display alongside a 1GHz Snapdragon processor to make sure you don’t miss a beat even when working on processor intensive applications on-the-go. Other features include a 5-megapixel autofocus camera and all the other standard bells and whistles, but we believe the main drawback of this handset would be the limitations of Windows Mobile 6.5, as that operating system has clearly lagged behind its competitors in recent times.
