
Just before you think that HTC does nothing but come up with Android and Windows Mobile-powered smartphones, along comes news of a new generation of touch user interface that will be organized as a virtual tome. In HTC’s patent application, it has been described as an “electronic device and user interface display method thereof”, where it is capable of organizing a plethora of applications, widgets, and web pages into pages of a virtual book. The user interface will be highly flexible and customizable, letting carriers and service providers to thrown in their own services, programs and widgets as they like.
