TechCrunch reported that Telia will be offering a new Spotify handset that will be built by cellphone manufacturer INQ, although they have yet to unveil a release date for us to look forward to. It would be interesting to see ho wthis handset will be integrated into Spotify’s other portfolios which include a downloadable music player that enables users to access a host of streaming songs from major and independant labels. For those who are rather tight on cash, they can opt for a free, ad-subsidized model while folks who hate ads can always settle for an ad-free, subscription-based setup.
