
MapQuest recently announced a voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation application for the iPhone that will come with a subscription plan. This means an initial $0.99 outlay where you can give it a shot for a couple of weeks, and if you like it that much, you can renew its services monthly for $3.99 or fork out $9.99 for each quarter. Those who love long term commitments can always settle for the one-year subscription at $29.99. Maps features will comprise of both the US and Canada. Features of this application from MapQuest will include 2D and 3D moving maps, route optimization, full route corridor download, one-tap search and over 16 million points of interests to choose from.
