Media Vehicle For The Future?

Here’s a rather odd looking thing hiding at the Digital Contents Expo in Tokyo. Developed by the Iwata-Yano Laboratory at the University of Tsukuba, this “Media Vehicle” has a spherical display and supposedly allows passengers to move around both in the real worth and a virtual reality environment. We’re not sure how you’re going to see what happens in the real world, but it certainly does look interesting. Maybe it can overlay some kind of useful information over the road that we’re travelling in this thing?
