Onkyo has released its P3 nettop that will be powered by the NVIDIA ION platform, featuring an Intel Atom 230 1.6GHz processor to go along with it, accompanied by 2GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive. You will need to pick up a separate DVD-ROM if you happen to have tons of programs that come in that format. The P3 will retail for around $770 a pop when it ships in March 2010, which is pretty pricey although that is the sacrifice you have to make for a modular design. [Press Release]
