OtterBox Commuter and Commuter TL cases

OtterBox has rolled out its Commuter and Commuter TL cases for both the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS handsets, where the normal Commuter case will feature a soft silicone skin that will wrap itself completely around the phone, making the custom-molded polycarbonate shell to keep the top, bottom and sides well protected despite offering open access to all ports, controls and the camera. Silicone plugs will ensure the ports remain protected, and those who want to customize it can do so through $30 three-packs of colored polycarbonate shells which will hit the market soon. Black is the only color of choice for the Commuter case for iPhone 3G and 3GS where it will retail for $35. As for the Commuter TL case, this will also rely on a three-layer protection approach, retailing for $35 a pop while coming in 7 color choices.
